Let me introduce myself in 100 words or less.  I’ve been a writer all my life, having one published book and over 100 articles to my credit.  My passions are world travel, camping, motorcycling, geography, hot springs, and running 15-20 miles per week.  Recently retired from a 33 year career in emergency services and wildfire management, and recently widowed after 29 years of marriage to a fellow adventurer, I’ve decided to give blogging a try.  Please come along as I visit and re-visit some fantastic places of power and beauty around the world.
